With the titles of Q400 and BRW Fast 100 business awards under their belt in 2008 and 2009, AWX is on track for another successful year in business having already been named as finalists in the BRW ANZ Private Business Awards 2010.
AWX, a local Brisbane firm, provides contract staff, labour hire and executive recruitment across six industry sectors: Construction, Industrial, Mining, Agribusiness, Health and Hospitality.
AWX were listed as one of five finalists in Category 1 – Fastest Growing Private Business (Turnover <$100M). The finalists in each category are the best of a long list of successful private businesses that during challenging economic times held their heads above water by implementing innovative and sustainable business practices.
AWX Director, Tom Reardon says that “a strong commitment to delivering real value and providing unbeatable customer service has maintained AWX’s growth and profitability through the last financial year”. AWX did not take out the overall category; however Reardon commented that he felt extremely proud that AWX has been recognised as a finalist standing alongside some of the most recognised brands in Australian business.
