About the Roles

AWX Cairns are seeking highly motivated and experienced Machine Operators for work in a fast-paced steel production environment. This role will be casual with the possibility of ongoing opportunities for the right person. A main requirement is for people who fit our culture with a positive "CAN DO" attitude and be self-motivated.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Current forklift and overhead gantry tickets with proven experience

• Experience in a steel production environment

• Drivers licence and own transport

• Able to undertake and pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test prior to starting

• Must be based in Cairns area

DUTIES

• Production of steel reinforcing products

• Machine operation

• Forklift and overhead gantry operation

• Manual labour, warehousing, and general housekeeping

• Ability to work well within team environment
