Job description

Our Client is an industry leader within there field and are currently seeking an Warehouse Co-Ordinator to join there team full time.

Ideally, we are looking for someone from a warehousing background with the required experience to hit the ground running. Ideal candidate is a quick learner, has a strong work ethic, efficient and able to adapt to varying constraints that may be thrown at them over the course of the day. The suitable candidate needs to be a team player who is willing to go above and beyond to get the job done within company guidelines and who is pro-active in getting the job done right the first time efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Co-ordinating work priorities for warehouse staff within transport and DIFTO timeframes for internal and external customer orders
  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with co-ordinating work tasks for staff for incoming stock, storage of stock and stock replenishment
  • Ensure all stock is invoiced to the customer accurately
  • Assisting in bi-annual stocktakes and cycle counts
  • Monitoring output of personnel and workflow
  • Train employees in warehouse process and procedures and monitoring adherence
  • Communicate and liaise with transport companies for timely pickups for customer orders, outgoing goods and credit returns
  • Credit process
  • Receiving and processing of goods inwards and outwards from internal and external suppliers, reporting of stock discrepancies and any damage stock
  • Accurate picking and packing orders with strong sense of urgency
  • Maintaining and improving warehouse standards
  • Accurate record keeping and assistance with inventory control
  • Must be willing to work across all aspects of our operation
  • Adhere to and follow all safety rules within the business by working safely, identify and report issues
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Current forklift licence (essential)
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
  • Proven warehouse team leader experience
  • Proven ability to direct and co-ordinate operations
  • Great communication skills on all levels, written and verbal
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, able to react with level of urgency with situational change and commitment to getting the job done
  • Experience with scanning and warehouse management systems
  • Experience with transport management system

Preferred:

  • Certificate in warehousing and logistics, or similar
