    FAQs

    • Do you do fixed-term contracts or full-time employment with annual leave and sick leave?

      Yes, AWX engages employees through casual, fixed term and permanent contracts all over Australia.

    • Will my pay rate change?

      We are committed with Anglo to continue your current pay and other conditions including bonuses as a minimum. We aim for this to be a seamless change of company.

    • Anglo currently pay an Operational Reward Framework to us through One Key. Have you received any communication about this being honoured through AWX?

      Yes, Anglo have confirmed that the Operational Reward Framework will be honoured and is part of the contract.

    • How does AWX pay?

      Digital timesheets, paid weekly on a Wednesday. Pay week is Monday to 

      Sunday.

    • Will my accrued leave roll over?

      All of your accrued leave will be paid out by OneKey.

    • I’ve been at One Key for a number of years – will my tenure be honoured?

      Long service leave is a legal requirement and will continue with your employment at AWX.

    • Will my ongoing tenure in Coal Mining be honoured post my time employed at OneKey?

      Black coal long service leave is a legal requirement and will continue on with your employment at AWX.

    • What will be involved in onboarding and induction?

      We want to make your transition process as smooth as possible.


      Step 1: AWX registration and online induction

      There are 5 modules which should take about 30mins of your time.


      Step 2: Document supply

      If you agree to Anglo sharing your details with AWX, we will need you to supply a copy of your Drivers License, Birth Certificate and or Passport to confirm your rights to work in Australia.


      Step 3: Financial details

      Once you’re placed in work, we’ll need your financial details. This includes bank, tax and super details to our Pinvoicer Portal and download our timesheets app.

    • Who will be my contact at AWX?

      You will be introduced to AWX Account Managers as your first point of contact and they will attend site regularly for face-to-face contact. You will be provided with other relevant contacts through the AWX company.

    • What other types of roles does AWX employ?

      In addition to mining, AWX recruits and employs staffing for various roles across multiple industries. As AWX is part of the wider PeopleIN group which encompasses 25 brands, we have the unique ability to offer solutions at scale across the majority of industries from blue collar to white collar professional roles such as engineers and geologists.
