We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator (AO7) to support the coordination and delivery of a significant program and its associated projects within a State Government department.
This role is critical to ensuring alignment with program outcomes and delivering sustainable solutions across the enterprise.
The role is part-time across 4–5 days per week, until 31 December 2026, with a possibility of being extended for a further 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver program activities and associated projects to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Provide timely updates, insights, and recommendations to the Manager, Planning and Delivery on progress, risks, and challenges.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Leads, and other program staff to monitor progress and resolve delivery issues.
- Undertake stakeholder engagement and consultation, including participation in strategic discussions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
- Monitor and report on project performance, track progress against plans, identify risks, and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
- Prepare accurate briefs, reports, presentations, and communication materials for senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or project management certifications.
- Proven experience in project and program coordination within complex environments.
