About the Role
Partners on Country are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team at coal and hard rock mine sites in Northwest Queensland. These opportunities include both casual project work and full-time positions, with FIFO offered from Townsville, Cairns, and Rockhampton.
You'll be working with a reputable leader in the mining industry, in a supportive and inclusive environment that values safety, teamwork, and long-term career growth.

What We're Looking For
• Trade qualified with post-trade experience in the mining industry (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic, or LV Fitter/Mechanic).
• Experience with heavy earthmoving equipment within a workshop environment.
• A current Queensland driver's licence.
• Experience with machine maintenance, including component replacement, component overhaul, general repairs, fault diagnostics, and PM servicing.
• Standard 11 & CBM preferred but not required.
• Safety-focused, reliable, and a strong team player .

Key Details
• Pay Rate: $64.40 - $78.89/hour + super
• Roster: 7/7 rotating day & night shifts (Tuesday-Monday or Thursday-Thursday), 12.5-hour shifts
• Location: FIFO from Townsville, Cairns, or Rockhampton, or DIDO options available
• Camp: Fully catered with gym & recreation areas; airstrip & pit within 10 minutes
• Retention Bonus: Available
