Our client is seeking a Lab & Service Technician to join their team based in Bomaderry, NSW. This is a casual, full-time ongoing position with a long-term opportunity offering hands-on work in industrial water treatment and site services.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain chemical stock levels on-site for cooling and boiler water systems.
- Perform inventory stocktakes and manage empty drum removal.
- Collect and test water samples, record results, and enter data into systems.
- Inspect and calibrate chemical dosing and monitoring equipment; perform minor repairs.
- Collect and dispatch biological samples and corrosion coupons.
- Report leaks, faults, and unusual events promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures.
- Demonstrated safe work practices and hazard awareness.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn basic water chemistry.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor maintenance.
- Good communication skills and computer literacy.
- Current driver’s licence (mandatory).
- Trade certificate or degree in chemistry/science highly regarded.
- Forklift ticket advantageous.
- Casual ongoing contract with full-time hours and long-term potential.
