With production ramping up, AWX is looking for experienced Mixer Operators to join our team in a long-term opportunity within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. If you're mechanically minded, reliable, and thrive working independently, this could be the perfect fit.
Job Highlights:
- Rotating shifts: 3 weeks day shift, 3 weeks afternoon shift (9.5-hour shifts)
- Pay rates: $36/hr (day) and $42/hr (afternoon) once signed off on training
- Autonomous role: Minimal supervision, high responsibility
- Operate, set up, and troubleshoot food manufacturing machinery
- Mix and blend ingredients using both modern and legacy equipment
- Perform minor maintenance and ensure smooth production flow
- Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 6 months of machine operating experience in food manufacturing (beverage experience highly regarded)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and basic computer/quality control experience
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kg
- Comfortable working in ambient conditions
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Potential for ongoing work with temp-to-perm opportunities
