About Our Client
Our client is a local government organisation committed to safe, reliable and customer-focused service delivery. The water team plays a key role in maintaining vital infrastructure and supporting community needs.
What You'll Do
- Carry out maintenance, repairs and planned works on water infrastructure
- Promote strong safety standards and follow all procedures
- Supervise staff and contractors to meet quality and compliance requirements
- Manage permits, site access and operational documentation
- Respond to leaks, faults and urgent issues
- Maintain tools, equipment and authorised stock
- Assist with reporting, data collection and continuous improvement
What You'll Need
- Trade Certificate in Plumbing
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- White Card, Confined Spaces ticket, Traffic Management Implementation qualification
- Strong safety focus and understanding of WHS obligations
- Experience in water reticulation or similar work
- Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
