About the Role
As a Civil Construction Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of multiple concurrent projects — ranging from residential and commercial subdivisions to roadworks and major infrastructure upgrades. You’ll lead your teams with confidence, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Overseeing the full project lifecycle — from planning through to completion and handover.
- Developing and maintaining construction programs and schedules.
- Managing procurement, budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
- Leading project teams, including Site Supervisors, Engineers, and subcontractors.
- Administering contracts, managing variations, claims, EOTs, and progress reporting.
- Overseeing quality assurance and compliance documentation (ITPs, testing, submissions).
- Ensuring all safety, environmental, and legislative requirements are met on-site.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and local authorities.
- Reporting regularly to senior management on progress, performance, and project outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing civil construction projects (subdivisions, infrastructure, or roadworks highly regarded).
- Proven leadership skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
