Sales Assistant
Job Title:
We have a role available and waiting for a professional who is passionate about great food, excellent service, and being part of a team. Our clients' busy bakery/café in Bokarina is looking for a bubbly sales assistant to join the crew and help keep things running smoothly.
Join the team as a store sales assistant! You'll serve customers from the drive-thru and in the store, prepare products, and keep the store tidy. A positive attitude and willingness to learn is essential.

About our client:
Partnered with AWX, our client is a well-established leader in the food industry. Local bakery café serving fresh breads, pastries, cakes, and quality coffee .
What You'll Do:
- Ensuring excellence in customer service, including cross-selling and up-selling.
- Opening and closing the store
- Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and store cleanliness
- Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages
- Ensuring compliance with WHS and Food Safety standards
- Serving customers from the drive-thru, using a headset
What You'll Need:
- Available to work weekends and during school hours
- Minimum of 3 months' food service experience
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and Food Safety standards
- Customer service focused with the ability to engage new customers and foster returning customer relationships
- A reliable, motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
