Trade Store Assistant Manager

About the Role
We're seeking a proactive and customer-focused Trade Store Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to both customer service and store operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Engage with customers face-to-face, via email, and over the phone
• Perform general administration duties including data entry and email management
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Record and report customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager following company procedures
• Assist with regular stock takes and inventory counts to maintain accurate records
• Process customer sales and transactions promptly
• Prepare and issue customer quotes

About You
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a trade, retail, or warehouse environment (preferred)
• Forklift Licence preferred but not essential
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Competent in computer systems and data entry
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
