About the Role
Partners on Country are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join the team at the workshops in Blackwater & Boundary Hill, Central Queensland. This opportunity is a permanent position with our client.
You'll be working with a reputable leader in the mining industry, in a supportive and inclusive environment that values safety, teamwork, and long-term career growth.
What We're Looking For
• Trade qualified with post-trade experience in the mining industry (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic)
• Experience with heavy mining equipment within a workshop environment
• A current QLD Driver's Licence
• Experience with machine maintenance, including component replacement, component overhaul, general repairs, breakdowns, fault diagnostics, refuelling, inspections and PM servicing
• Safety-focused, reliable, and a strong team player
Equipment
• Experienced in mining machinery a MUST
• All surface mining fleet - Dozers, Haul Trucks, Graders, Loaders, Light Plant
Key Details
• Pay Rate: $63.86 - $72 hour + super, 12hr shift
• Camp: Meals & camp provided
• DIDO roles
• Blackwater 7/7 Day or 5/2/4/3 Day Shift Only
• Boundary Hill 5/4/4/5 DSNS Lifestyle Roster
