Job Title:
We have a role available and waiting for a professional who is passionate about great food, excellent service, and being part of a team. Our clients' busy bakery/café in Cannon Hill is looking for an Assistant Manager to join the crew and help keep things running smoothly.

As the Assistant Manager, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring outstanding customer service, consistent product quality, and smooth shift management. You'll lead by example, assisting the Store Manager with staff training, stock control, and compliance, while keeping the team motivated and the atmosphere welcoming.

Availability to work across a rotating roster between 4.00am - 8.00pm, seven days (including every second weekend)

What You'll Do:
Ensuring excellence in customer service.
Opening and closing the store
Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and store cleanliness
Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, including quality coffee, and consistent
Management of stock, including rotation, quality assurance, and minimising wastage
Implementing operational policies and administration
Ensuring compliance with WHS and Food Safety standards
Training, supervising, mentoring, and coaching team members
Promoting a positive work environment that encourages team members to grow, be challenged, and have fun!

What You'll Need:
Available to work weekends and during school hours
Minimum of 2 years previous team leading in food service experience,
Solid knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and Food Safety standards
Customer service focused with the ability to engage new customers and foster returning customer relationships
Highly organised with great time management and communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships within the store team & greater network as well as with customers, suppliers, and contractors
A reliable, motivated team player with excellent communication skills and leads by example
Willingness & ability to strive for & achieve store Key Performance Indicators
Own reliable transport is essential
