About the Role
Partners on Country are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our team at Curragh, Middlemount and Moranbah mine sites in Central Queensland. These opportunities are a permanent position with our client.
You'll be working with a reputable leader in the mining industry, in a supportive and inclusive environment that values safety, teamwork, and long-term career growth.
What We're Looking For
• Trade qualified with post-trade experience in the mining industry (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic)
• Experience with heavy earthmoving equipment within a workshop environment and in the field
• A current Queensland driver's licence
• Experience with machine maintenance, including component replacement, component overhaul, general repairs, breakdowns, fault diagnostics, refuelling, inspections and PM servicing
• Standard 11 & CBM
• Safety-focused, reliable, and a strong team player
Equipment
• All surface mining fleet - Dozers, Haul Trucks, Graders, Loaders, Small Excavators, Light Plant
Key Details
• Pay Rate: $73 - $77/hour + super, 12hr shift
• Camp: Meals & camp provided
• DIDO roles
• Curragh Mine 7/7 rotating day & night shifts
• Moranbah Mine 7/7 rotating day & night shifts
• Middlemount Mine 7/7 Days Shift only
