Our client is a leading manufacturer in the plastic industry, operating a busy and fast-paced facility in Narangba, QLD . This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The role involves maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment across the site. You will work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of machinery and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Assist with installation and upgrades of electrical systems
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Trade qualification as an Electrician
- Current QLD Unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (plastic industry experience highly regarded)
- Experience with automation gear and systems
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
