Our client is a leading mining and civil contractor known for delivering large-scale projects across Queensland, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation. They provide end-to-end open cut mining services at a major phosphate operation in North West Queensland, including site development, overburden removal, rehabilitation, and environmental works.
This is a six-month project based at Phosphate Hill, with FIFO from Townsville or DIDO from Mount Isa (approximately 167 km) options available.
What You'll do
- Operating 785 dump trucks to support production operations
- Night Shift only
- Safely navigating haul roads and tipping areas in line with site procedures and environmental standards
- Completing daily pre-start checks and reporting hazards
What You'll Need
- Proven experience operating 785 or similar-sized trucks (hard rock, coal, civil, or quarry)
- Current RII or signed skills list (within 5 years)
- Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and functional assessment
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Must be clean-shaven for site compliance
