About the opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Hand to join a busy site in Truganina. This role will start on a casual basis with the opportunity to move into a full-time position for the right candidate.
The position involves working closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations, supervising the afternoon shift, and supporting a small team to deliver quality meals and service.
What you'll do
- Support and assist in afternoon shift operations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as required
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team
- Provide excellent customer service, including POS operation (training provided)
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workplace
What You'll Need
- Strong team player with clear communication skills
- Ability to work under supervision and follow directions
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations (preferred but not essential)
- Previous cook or chef experience highly regarded, but not required
- Reliability and a positive attitude
