As a Logistics Coordinator, you will assist the Livestock Operations Team with day-to-day planning, scheduling, and customer service. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment, coordinating livestock movements—primarily beef cattle—while also contributing to general farm duties.
This is a permanent full-time position based in Tamworth, Monday to Friday, with some rostered weekend and on-call requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Administration
- Assist the operations team with daily logistics coordination and customer enquiries.
- Perform data entry, scheduling, pricing, and general administrative duties.
- Support planning and organisation of livestock transport movements, with a focus on beef cattle.
- Farm & Livestock Work
- Assist with general farm and livestock duties, including cattle handling, sale yard tasks, machinery use, and feeding routines.
- Support feeding operations at onsite facilities.
- Occasional travel as required (with all expenses covered).
The Candidate
- Experience in the beef cattle industry is preferred (e.g., transport driving, feedlot work, dispatch, fleet coordination)
- Logistics or operational experience within livestock transport
- Accuracy in pricing tasks
- Previous leadership or management experience
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability
- Team-oriented with a customer-service mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Current car licence
