About the Role
AWX are currently adding new team members to a casual, on-call workforce pool for 2026, supporting a large pallet and logistics operation based in Wetherill Park and Erskine Park.
This role is suited to individuals seeking flexible casual work, where hours may vary week to week depending on operational demand. As site requirements increase, some casual team members may be offered more regular shifts over time, subject to performance, availability, and business needs.
If you're comfortable working with hand and power tools, enjoy physical work, and are looking to join a safety-focused and fast-paced environment, this could be a good fit.
What You'll Do
Working on a casual, on-call basis, you may be rostered to carry out duties including:
- Inspecting pallets for damage, wear, and safety issues
- Repairing pallets using hand tools, power tools, and nail guns
- Reassembling pallets to meet quality and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Working to clearly defined productivity and quality targets (training provided)
What You'll Need
You'll be required to work both independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have:
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Availability across day, afternoon or night shifts (highly regarded)
- Physical fitness to work in a fast-paced environment
- A strong work ethic and demonstrated reliability when rostered
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
