The Role
Our client, a leading food packaging manufacturer specialising in plastic packaging and based in Narangba, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to join their operations team.

They currently run 3   shifts and are looking for a strong leader to oversee the day shift team . This permanent full-time role will see you driving performance, safety, and quality across production lines while ensuring efficient and compliant food packaging processes are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the day shift production team (7am – 3pm, Monday to Friday)
• Ensure production targets, safety standards, and food-quality controls are consistently met
• Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate workflow and ensure smooth handovers across shifts
• Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to WHS and food safety standards
• Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to keep machinery operating efficiently
• Maintain accurate production records and shift reports

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in manufacturing, ideally within the plastic or food packaging industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Solid mechanical aptitude – able to understand and manage automated packaging lines
• Ability to work independently and solve problems under pressure
• Sound understanding of WHS and food safety quality systems
