About our client
AWX is partnering with a leading North Queensland quarry operator supplying high-quality aggregates, road base, and concrete materials. This ongoing project involves material extraction, processing, and transport operations, supporting civil, mining, and infrastructure projects across the region.
The operation is committed to safety, quality, and customer service, offering secure, long-term employment for experienced plant operators.

Available Roles
• Excavator Operator
• Pugmill Operator
• Loader Operator
• Rigid Dump Truck / Articulated Haul Truck
• Dozer Operator

Roster
• Monday to Friday, rotating half-day Saturday
• 6:30 AM prestart 5:00 PM finish
• 10-hour days with two 30-minute breaks (one paid, one unpaid)

What you'll do
• Operate quarry mobile plant including excavators, loaders, haul trucks, dozers, and pugmills
• Load, haul, and process materials to meet production targets
• Conduct pre-starts and equipment checks
• Work within a safety-driven team environment
• Follow site procedures and contribute to continuous improvement

What you'll need
• Relevant RII competencies / tickets
• Minimum 12 months' experience in civil, coal, or hard rock quarrying
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Physically fit and ready for outdoor, hands-on work
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a team environment
