AWX are currently seeking an experienced and proactive warehouse team leader for our client based in Rocklea.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in leadership and will be responsible for the efficient handling and distribution of goods within the warehouse.
This role will start on a casual basis with the view to permanency.
About the role:
•
Supervising a small team to ensure accurate distribution of fresh produce and speciality goods.
• Liaising with transport teams to ensure strict delivery schedules are met
• Work to daily targets in a fast-moving environment.
• Packing of fresh produce - lifting, manual handling
• Working ongoing shifts - Monday to Friday.
• Working early mornings - 2 am starts
About You:
• Previous experience in managing a small team within a face paced environment
• Reliable team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Forklift licence is an advantage
• Ability to learn warehouse management systems
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
