About the Role:
AWX are seeking an experienced 8 Tonne Forklift Driver to join a busy distribution working with modern insulation materials, gypsum wallboard systems, plasters and accessories, thermal insulation composite systems, floor screed, floor systems, and construction equipment and tools which the site is based in Camellia. This is a hands-on role suited to an operator who is confident working in a fast-paced logistics environment and is flexible to move from morning shift into rotating shift work as required.
What You'll Do:
• Loading and unloading vehicles using an 8T quad tyne forklift
• Managing goods inwards and outwards processes
• Manual handling and assembling loads as required
• Ensuring Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance
• Participating in stock take functions and inventory control
• Checking and processing orders accurately
• Maintaining SAP system compliance and order validity
• Operating equipment safely and reporting faults or damage
• Adhering to site management systems and procedures
• This role contains repetitive manual handling tasks. Some heavy lifting is required.
What You'll Need:
• Proven experience operating an 8T forklift (essential - must be experienced)
• Valid LF Forklift Licence
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights (no visa sponsorship available)
• Valid Police Check
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Must be fit and energetic, this role contains some repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting.
