About our client
Our client's ongoing commitment to maintaining safe, reliable and fit-for-purpose transport infrastructure across the Cloncurry region. The works involve targeted road, structural and construction activities, including essential rehabilitation and maintenance, to ensure the network continues to safely accommodate local traffic, heavy vehicles and regional freight.
What you'll do
Carry out a range of road construction activities, including earthworks, pavement construction and general civil works within traffic management zones
Operate and work around construction plant and equipment in live traffic and active work environments
Use a variety of hand, power, air and battery-operated tools to complete construction tasks safely and efficiently
Work day and night shifts as required to meet project and program demands
Maintain high standards of site safety, housekeeping and environmental compliance
Work effectively as part of a small, supportive team, following instructions and construction plans
Support safe site operations by complying with all procedures and completing required documentation and reporting
What you'll need
Construction White Card
Current driver's licence, with MR or HR licence highly desirable
Experience using a range of hand, power, and plant equipment in a construction setting
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a willingness to learn on the job
