About the opportunity

AWX is recruiting now for experienced Dozer Operators to support a 44-week mine rehabilitation project at Ensham Mine near Emerald, QLD. Multiple roles are available for operators experienced on:
D9 Dozers, D10 Dozers for Scraper Push or D11 for bulk or push operations.
This is a DIDO project, with camp accommodation and meals provided. While ideally suited to those based in Central Queensland, operators from other regions are welcome to apply. The roster starts as 7/7 Day Shift, with a rotating roster to follow.
Camp accommodation, meals, and fatigue management support are provided. Operators can choose between a fixed-term contract with entitlements or a casual arrangement - depending on what works for you.
What you'll do

• Operate D9, D10 Scraper Push, or D11 Dozers on large-scale rehab earthworks
• Conduct push work, contouring, and landform reshaping
• Safely navigate rehab zones in line with site procedures
• Conduct pre-starts, maintain clean and hazard-free equipment
• Work with project supervisors to meet daily rehab targets


What You'll Need (and How to Get Started)

• Minimum 12 months experience on D9, D10, or D11 Dozers from bulk works, push or stockpile
• RII or signed skills list (within 5 years)
• Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment functional (incl. step test)
• Clean-shaven for site compliance
