About the opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Hand to join a busy site in Truganina. This role will start on a casual basis with the opportunity to move into a full-time position for the right candidate.
The position involves working closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations, supervising the afternoon shift, and supporting a small team to deliver quality meals and service.
What you'll do
Support and assist in afternoon shift operations
Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as required
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team
Provide excellent customer service, including POS operation (training provided)
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workplace
What You'll Need
Strong team player with clear communication skills
Ability to work under supervision and follow directions
Basic understanding of kitchen operations (preferred but not essential)
Previous cook or chef experience highly regarded, but not required
Reliability and a positive attitude
