ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Horticulturist to support the maintenance division. Ideally you will reside 20 minutes from the Tweed depot. Have a good knowledge of pesticides to manage pest control using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles. Working closely with the maintenance team, you will contribute to landscape maintenance projects and horticultural plans, maintaining accurate records and ensuring high standards of landscape presentation. In addition, you have excellent attention to detail and can record and monitor data and records. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills mean you can work well within a team and deliver excellent customer service.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
The ideal candidate will have a Trade Certificate or relevant qualifications in Horticulture, along with experience in landscape maintenance.
Completion of a Chemical certification is also essential. You have a strong knowledge of current horticultural practices, plant identification with a focus on Australian native plants, and the ability to optimise plant performance through effective weed, pest, and disease control using. Experience with maintaining accurate records, operating horticultural machinery safely including whipper snippers, lawn mowers and hedgers.
