AWX are currently seeking reliable meat packers, knifehands and labourers for a meat processing facility located in Wulkuraka.

What you'll need
To be successful in these roles you will:
•Have experience within the meat industry (preferred but not essential)
•Have a great attitude towards work, reliability and able to follow instructions
•Be able to work day shifts from 5am Monday to Friday
•Have a current Q Fever vaccination or willing to obtain
•Have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
•Enjoy doing repetitive work
•Possess sound knowledge of handling food products appropriately & within strict hygiene standards
•Be able to work in a cold environment
•Pass a drug and functional capacity assessment
•Australian Citizenship or full rights to work in Australia.
For the knifehand
roles you will also require:
•experience in knife work preferably within the meat industry
•skinning and boning experience preferred
For the labourer
roles you will also require to:
•be physically fit and able to do repetitive heavy lifting as the role involves unloading products from trucks
