AWX is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Pickers & Packers to join our dynamic team in Townsville. If you have a strong work ethic, a positive CAN DO' attitude, are reliable and are eager to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity for you no experience required! We are looking for people who have a genuine willingness to contribute to a supportive and high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Rotate and manage stock within freezers.
- Pick and pack products accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct stocktakes as required.
- Perform general duties within the freezer store.
- Work in a cold-room and freezer environment (previous experience is an advantage, but not essential).
- Maintain strict quality standards with strong attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively and work well in a small team.
- Be available for day, afternoon, and night shifts.
- Safely lift, push, and pull boxes weighing up to 15kg.
What We're Looking For
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Own PPE, including steel-capped boots
- Reliable,flexible, and self-motivated.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol test and fitness assessment.
