Currently we are seeking an experienced production supervisor to join a small knit team working in the game meat industry located in Ipswich. Your skills and experience (preferably in the meat industry or similar) will see you with an on-going temp to permanent role.
·Day shift commences at 5am until 1pm (hours may vary according to site and production requirements
·Complete on-site uniform provided including boots
·Secure on-site parking
·Excellent training system provided

Your skills and experience:
·Experience working within the meat industry or similar environment
·Demonstrate and encourage open effective communication with all staff and leadership teams
·Strong leadership skills, encourage upskilling of staff, guidance and support as required
·Experience in rostering staff, production planning and reduction of OT
·Strong administrative skills including intermediate computer and software experience (Microsoft office)
·Be able to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and manage their team effectively in accordance to site requirements
·Strong health and safety focus including GMP
·QA qualifications or strong experience within quality is an advantage

Requirements for role:
·Have current QFEVER or willing to get one
·Able to pass an oral drug test
·Be physically fit and able to do repetitive work as required
·Full working rights within Australia
·Commitment to Monday to Friday with some weekend work in busier periods
·Cert IV in Meat Processing or equivalent will be advantageous
