About The Role:
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Civil Road Maintenance labourers to join our Government client for projects based out of Brisbane - Hemmant or Nathan Depots .
What you Will Be Doing:
You will be experienced in Civil Road Maintenance. Within this role you will join the Road Maintenance crew based out of Hemmant or Nathan
Work will consist of :
• General Road Maintenance Labouring (maintenance of roads and associated infrastructure, including pathways, kerbs, channels, and drainage systems and road signs)
- Operating Truck Mounted Attenuators (TMA)
These roles will be working roughly 38 -45 hours a week on a 9-day fortnight or a 4 Night week. There will be potential to work some weekends and nights as required (overtime on a as needed basis), penalties and allowances paid where applicable.
REQUIREMENTS:
• MUST be able to complete a pre-employment involving functional assessment + drug/ Alcohol screening.
• MR Licence as a minimum
• A TMI and TMA qualification would be advantageous
• Civil Construction or Road Maintenance experience
• White Card
• Own transport
• Ability to Identify hazards.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
