About the opportunity

We're working with an experienced earthworks contractor delivering a 44-week rehabilitation project at Ensham Mine in Central Queensland. We're seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators (CAT 777 or equivalent). Whether from coal or civil backgrounds, if you've got solid operating skills and a safety-first mindset - we want to hear from you.
This is a DIDO project, with camp accommodation and meals provided. While ideally suited to those based in Central Queensland, operators from other regions are welcome to apply. The roster starts as 7/7 Day Shift, with a rotating roster to follow.
Camp accommodation, meals, and fatigue management support are provided. Operators can choose between a fixed-term contract with entitlements or a casual arrangement - depending on what works for you.
What you'll do

• Operating CAT 777 Dump Trucks to support one of Queensland's largest active mine rehabilitation programs
• Hauling material across site to reshape landforms, cap spoil areas, and return the site to a safe and stable condition
• Navigating haul roads and tipping areas with care, following all site rules and environmental controls
• Completing daily pre-starts, reporting hazards, and contributing to a high-performing, safety-first team
• Pitching in where needed to support broader rehab outcomes


What You'll Need (and How to Get Started)

• Experience on CAT 777s or similar-sized trucks (civil or coal)
• RII or signed skills list (within 5 years)
• Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment functional (incl. step test)
• Clean-shaven for site compliance
