We are currently seeking an External Sales Representative to manage an established sales territory, grow existing accounts, and drive new business opportunities to support our client’s continued expansion.
This is a permanent full-time position offering attractive benefits, including a company car and commission. The role is based in Richland.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage a territory of existing accounts, including the servicing of key customers
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to minimise account loss and increase revenue
- Proactively identify and secure new customer accounts in line with the sales strategy
- Maximise profitability of existing customers through new product offerings and proactive account management
- Maintain a strong focus on pipeline development and new business growth
- Source opportunities that help reduce relocation costs through efficient equipment movement
- Manage sales and marketing costs in line with budget expectations
- Maintain accurate sales and financial reporting across the territory
- Work autonomously and spend 4–5 days per week actively visiting clients in the field
- Proven experience in external sales and account management, ideally within the logistics or manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of CRM systems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Strong closing and relationship-building skills
- Enjoys regular face-to-face customer interaction
- Holds a current driver’s licence
