A well-established manufacturing business in the Redlands region is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join the operations team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their accuracy, and values teamwork.
About the role
You'll be supporting the day-to-day movement of goods across a busy production and warehouse environment, ensuring materials are loaded, unloaded, and stored correctly.
This role may also include basic manual handling tasks and the use of simple digital systems for paperwork and inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift to load and unload trucks and move raw materials or finished goods around the site
- Completing paperwork related to goods received and dispatched
- Using basic computer systems or scanners to track stock movements
- Assisting with manual handling tasks when required
- Maintaining an organised and safe work area
- Adhering to all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Communicating with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
What We're Looking For
- A current forklift licence (LF)
- Proven experience in forklift operations-ideally in a manufacturing, warehouse, or transport environment
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Comfortable using basic digital tools (e.g., tablets, handheld scanners, or data entry systems)
- A strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a safety-first attitude
- Physically fit and capable of some manual tasks when required
