Hardware Store All rounder

Job Title:
Hardware store person, working the shop front, dealing with customer questions and queries, and POS sales. Experienced Forklift Driver with a Manual driver's licence to deliver products to customers and trade sites.

About our client:
Partnered with AWX, Our client is a well-established market leader in hardware retail, serving both individual customers and trade professionals.

What You'll Do:

• Physical work with some heavy lifting required
• Forklift operations within the yard
• Loading & unloading of trucks
• Delivering stock and products, driving a manual Ute
• Stock control, ensuring all deliveries are accurate and checked as per company policy
• Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers, and contractors
• Serving customers in the store and the trade yard- helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service, including using the POS.

What You'll Need:
• Be physically fit - Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and able to lift 15-25kgs.
• Current Forklift licence and at least 1-2 years' experience.
• Current Manual Driver's Licence.
• Be flexible and undertake various duties.
• Own Steel cap boots.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An eye for detail and a sense of urgency.
• Exceptional customer service skills
