Our client, working in partnership with a major state government operational program, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Drone Operations Support Officer to assist agricultural drone teams in delivering bait applications across South East Queensland.
This is a casual full‑time assignment, offering stable work for several months with the possibility of longer‑term opportunities for strong performers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support agricultural drone operators during field operations.
- Charge drone batteries, prepare bait, and load 12.5kg bags into drone hoppers.
- Assist with safely loading/unloading drones from transport vehicles (up to 20kg).
- Travel with the company car from Wacol to field sites across the Sunshine Coast, Lockyer Valley, and the Scenic Rim.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Current driver’s licence (required).
- AQF2 or AQF3 Safe Chemical Handling Certification — beneficial, but training can be provided for applicants who do not hold this certificate.
- White Card— preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfortable working outdoors and completing physical tasks.
- Reliable, diligent, safety‑focused individuals.
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively within an operational team
