Our client is a provider of high quality, unique giftware & haberdashery with unique art work supporting community projects while creating the finest products for our customers. Our focus is on creating a unique shopping experience with some of the soft products made in house
What you'll do
Working alongside a team in their packing department, packing customer orders for our client
Inspecting picked items for damages or defects before packing them.
Packs them securely into boxes or containers. This may involve arranging items to maximize space efficiency and ensuring that fragile items are properly protected.
Affixing shipping labels and ensuring that all necessary documentation, such as packing slips or invoices,
Adhering to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. This includes using personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper lifting techniques
What you'll need
- Full availability to work 38hrs a week, 8hr shifts
- Own transport- public transport is limited in the area.
- At least 12 months experience in a warehouse or packing environment.
- Take pride in the appearance of your order
- Happy to work in a small team
- Attention to detail, ability to read and action a pick slip
