The role
A leading packaging manufacturer in Narangba is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to join their operations team. This permanent full-time role will see you supervising the night shift team and driving performance, safety, and quality across the line.

You will commence on day shift for initial training and handover , before transitioning into a night shift leadership role. You’ll be responsible for overseeing production activities, supporting your team, and ensuring efficient packaging processes are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the night shift production team (11 PM – 7 AM, Monday to Friday)
• Ensure production goals, safety standards, and quality controls are consistently met
• Troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate workflow and ensure timely handovers across shifts
• Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to WHS standards
• Maintain accurate shift records and reporting

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in manufacturing or FMCG environment, ideally within the packaging industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and solve problems under pressure
• Sound understanding of WHS and quality systems
• Available to train during the day shift before commencing night shift
