The Role

 
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join a highly regarded manufacturing operation that specialises in complex, quality‑driven production processes. 

In this position, you will oversee daily production activities within a fast‑paced operation that manages a variety of technical formulations and production lines. You will play a critical role in maintaining safe work practices, delivering high‑quality output, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day workflow.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Lara, working Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm. You will work closely with other supervisors, production staff, and support teams to meet production targets while fostering a culture focused on teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise daily production activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and support operational staff to uphold standards and ensure clarity of role expectations.
  • Monitor production output, complete required documentation, and promptly address operational issues.
  • Oversee quality checks and ensure all products meet specification requirements.
  • Implement and reinforce procedural controls that enhance efficiency and workplace discipline.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance and streamline workflow.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support daily and long‑term production goals
  
The Candidate
Ideal candidates will bring:
  • Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally involving technical or chemical‑related processes.
  • A degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is highly regarded.
  • Or Certificate IV in Manufacturing or Frontline Management (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of Workplace Health & Safety.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Basic capability with Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
  • A forklift licence is advantageous.
