About the opportunity

AWX is partnering with a Tier 1 civil contractor to deliver critical road and infrastructure works on a major mining lease, located 45 minutes from West Wyalong in Central West NSW. This long-term project will involve site establishment, haul road construction and general civil works.

We are currently seeking experienced Civil Labourers, Roller Operators, and General Plant Operators to join the initial crew. Roles are open to local candidates and those based in Parkes, Forbes, Temora, and surrounding regional centres. A daily DIDO model is preferred, with accommodation available for successful candidates.


What you'll do

· Perform general labouring duties in road construction and site development

· Assist with site establishment (fencing, signage, materials movement)

· Operate civil machinery such as rollers or loaders (if ticketed)

· Escort plant vehicles to and from site gates (Dogman tickets highly regarded)

· Support civil supervisors and follow site safety procedures



What You'll Need

· Construction White Card (Mandatory)

· Experience in civil, road construction, mining, or infrastructure projects

· Roller or Plant Operator Tickets

· Traffic control or Dogman ticket advantageous

· Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts in remote outdoor environments

· Pass a full pre-employment medical consisting of full functional and drug and alcohol
