About the opportunity
We are seeking a customer-focused Trade Sales Assistant to join a well-established team at their Toowoomba store. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role supporting a busy retail and trade environment that services customers across the region.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing knowledgeable service while promoting a wide range of gases, welding products, and safety equipment.
This opportunity would suit a mature-minded individual with previous customer service or sales experience who enjoys a hands-on, varied role.
Key Responsibilities
• Phone and counter sales, including responding to email orders
• Merchandising and inventory management
• Check stock levels and assist with stocktakes
• Use SAP and internal systems for orders and enquiries
• Safe manual handling of gas cylinders, including loading into customer vehicles
What You'll Need
• Previous experience in customer service
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Confident computer skills, SAP experience advantageous
• Physically capable of manual handling tasks
About This Role
• Full-time hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Occasional Saturday work as required
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• $35 per hour (casual rate)
