This is an excellent opportunity for skilled Boilermakers with underground mining experience who are looking to contribute to the safe and efficient operation of underground mining equipment and infrastructure.
About the role:
AWX is currently seeking experienced and trade-qualified Boilermakers for opportunities with our client in Mount Isa, Queensland.
What you'll do:
- Carry out underground maintenance, repairs and fabrication
- Identify and report equipment defects and potential safety hazards
- Maintain compliance with site safety procedures and underground mining standards
- Preventative maintenance
What you'll Need:
- Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualification
- Current Australian Manual driver's licence
- Previous experience working in an underground mining environment
- Experience working with heavy mining equipment and infrastructure
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively within a maintenance team
Requirements if successful:
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to pass site inductions and training requirements
