AWX is seeking experienced Civil Labourers for an exciting, long-term civil construction project in and around Nimbin, NSW.
With an immediate start available, easy onboarding and 18+ months of work on a local project, this is a great opportunity for reliable workers looking for consistent hours and the chance to further develop their skills in the civil construction industry.
About the Role
Our client is an Australian, family-owned civil construction, engineering and industrial services company undertaking road construction and slipwall reconstruction works throughout the Nimbin area.
As a Civil Labourer, you will work alongside an experienced civil crew, assisting with a variety of road construction and infrastructure activities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Spotting machinery and assisting operators
- General road construction and road-building duties
- Traffic control support, signage and flagging
- Trenching and excavation support
- Pit and pipe installation duties
- General civil labouring and site clean-up

What You'll Need
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Current White Card
- Previous civil construction experience, ideally in roadworks, trenching, pit and pipe or similar duties
- Strong work ethic and a reliable attitude
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, with start times from approximately 6:30 am and shifts finishing by around 5:00 pm, depending on project requirements. Saturdays available also for those who want extra OT!!
