About the Role
Working as part of the RoadTek team, you will assist with road line marking and associated civil construction works across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
The role will be predominantly night shift, with a small amount of day shift work potentially required.
Duties may include:
- Carrying out road line marking and associated preparation works
- Setting out and preparing areas for line marking
- Operating line marking equipment where suitably experienced
- General civil construction and labouring duties
- Assisting with traffic management and worksite set-up
- Loading, unloading and handling materials and equipment
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised worksite
- Working as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Following all workplace health and safety requirements
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous civil construction line marking experience
- A current White Card
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work predominantly night shifts
- Ability to work outdoors and undertake physically demanding duties
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around plant, vehicles and live worksites
The following qualifications and tickets would be highly advantageous:
- MR Licence
- Certificate III in Line Marking
- Forklift Licence
- Previous experience operating line marking equipment
