$41.43/hr Day Rate | Shift Penalties | Double Time OT | Temp-to-Perm
AWX is seeking a reliable and physically fit Cold Room Labourer with a current LF Forklift Licence to join a busy food distribution operation.
This is a hands-on labouring role, with the majority of your shift spent picking, moving and preparing products in a 2°C cold room environment.
While an LF licence is required, forklift driving will be minimal - so you don't need to be an expert operator.
You must be available and flexible to work across day, afternoon and night shifts, as well as on-call when required. Shift penalties and applicable overtime rates apply.

What You'll Be Doing
This is primarily a labouring role, so you'll need to enjoy physical, hands-on work.
Your duties will include:
• Picking and preparing orders
• Manual handling and moving products
• Stacking and organising stock
• Loading and unloading
• General cold room and warehouse duties
• Checking orders for accuracy
• Operating a forklift when required
• Keeping work areas clean and organised
• Following food safety, quality and WHS procedures
What We're Looking For
To be successful, you'll need:
• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Some forklift experience - limited experience is OK
• Previous warehouse, pick packing, cold room or labouring experience
• Comfortable working in a 2°C cold room environment
• Enjoy physical, hands-on work
• Ability to complete repetitive manual handling
• Good reading, writing and English communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and safety-focused approach to work
• Reliable transport
• Full availability across day, afternoon and night shifts
• Flexibility for on-call and additional shifts when required
Previous cold room or food distribution experience will be highly regarded, but candidates with transferable warehouse and labouring experience are encouraged to apply.
