We are seeking an experienced and reliable MC Crane Truck Driver for an ongoing opportunity based in Yatala.
This is more than a standard driving role, with the successful candidate responsible for delivering building products and safely operating a truck-mounted vehicle loading crane to unload at customer and construction sites.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person.
Role Requirements
• Current MC Driver Licence
• Previous heavy vehicle driving experience
• Genuine experience operating a truck-mounted / vehicle loading crane
• Current CV Vehicle Loading Crane HRW Licence, where required
• White Card
• Good understanding of load restraint and securing loads
• Strong safety awareness and reliable driving history
• Ability to work independently and represent the company professionally
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Highly Regarded / Advantage:
• Dogging (DG) HRW Licence
• C2 or C6 Slewing Mobile Crane HRW Licence with relevant truck-mounted crane experience
• Experience with Hiab, Palfinger or similar cranes
• Building products, timber or truss delivery experience
• Previous experience delivering directly to construction sites
The Role Will Involve:
• Driving an MC crane truck from the Yatala depot to customer and construction sites
• Loading and unloading building products using the vehicle loading crane
• Safely securing and restraining loads
• Delivering products safely and efficiently
• Operating the crane in accordance with site and safety requirements
• Completing delivery paperwork and interacting professionally with customers
• Maintaining the vehicle and equipment to a high standard
Pay and Hours:
- $46.00 per hour + overtime and Saturday work as required
- Monday to Friday with flexibility for overtime and weekend work.
- Casual ongoing opportunity with temp-to-perm potential for the right person.
