About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Civil & Infrastructure team, with the role split approximately 60% office-based and 40% field-based.
You will assist with project quality processes, documentation and tracking while working closely with Project Managers and Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers and Supervisors
- Assist with project tracking and documentation
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Follow specification checklists
- Assist with implementing quality procedures
- Use technology including iPads and relevant project software
- Assist with costings, material ordering and stock management
About You
- 5+ years' industry field experience preferred
- Civil construction experience essential, with road construction highly desirable
- Certificate III or above desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and written skills
- Confident using technology and completing documentation
- Ability to interpret construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- White Card
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- First Aid desirable
ENGINEERING GRADUATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY
We are also open to undergraduate or graduate Engineers who are looking to gain valuable hands-on experience within the civil construction industry.
Mentoring and on the job training provided
Pay & Conditions
- $44-$48 per hour, depending on experience + penalties & applicable allowances
- Day shift
- 6-12 month opportunity
- Construction allowances paid where applicable
- PPE supplied
- All successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including functional assessment and drug & alcohol screening.
