About the Role
You'll be working on a range of civil and commercial projects across Townsville, contributing to the delivery of quality infrastructure throughout the region.
Depending on your experience, duties may include:
• Formwork setup and installation
• Steel fixing and reinforcement
• Concrete placement, screeding and finishing
• Kerb, channel, pavement, wall and slab construction
• Reading and interpreting plans
• Operating hand and power tools
• Site preparation and general labouring duties
• Maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards
What We're Looking For
• Experience in concrete, civil, construction or precast environments
• White card (essential)
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors
Highly Regarded:
• Civil construction experience
• Concrete finishing experience
• Formwork or steel fixing experience
• Machinery tickets and RII qualifications
• Demonstrated leadership experience for Leading Hand positions
