We’re on the hunt for a skilled Auto Electrician who knows their way around heavy plant and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same. You’ll be right across:
- Auto electrical maintenance, diagnostics and fault finding on heavy plant
- Scheduled, preventative and breakdown maintenance (workshop & field)
- Repairs completed to OEM specs, on time and to a high standard
- Daily pre-starts on service vehicles
- Clear shift handovers so nothing gets missed
- Keeping work areas clean, safe and environmentally compliant
- Identifying better ways of doing things and helping roll out improvements
- Living and breathing safety - reporting incidents, completing SAOs and looking out for your mates
- Pitching in to support the wider maintenance team when needed
You’re switched on, proactive and proud of your trade. You communicate well, work safely and bring a positive attitude every shift.
What You’ll Need
- Trade-qualified Auto Electrician (post-trade experience essential)
- Cert III Automotive Electrical Technology (AUR30312)
- Cert II Automotive Air Conditioning Technology (AUR20212)
- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Experience with heavy plant and equipment (open-cut mining highly regarded)
- QLD Class C Driver’s Licence
- RIIVEH201D & RIISAM202D
- Your own personal trade tools
- HR Licence
- EWP / Working at Heights / Forklift tickets
- CMMS experience (MEXX or similar)
- Full-time, stable work in a safety-first environment
